Australsk pilgrimsforening forsøger at holde den gode stemning fra vandring i Spanien i live med et meget aktivt mødeprogram.
Med over 4.000 australske pilgrimme årligt, er der større sandsynlighed for at møde en australier end en dansker på en af pilgrimsvejene mod Santiago. Og selv om det, set fra Europa, synes at være en rigtig lang vej mellem Australien og Caminoerne, så gør en aktiv australsk pilgrimsforening sit til at holde pilgrimsånden i gang i det geografiske kæmpestore land. En pilgrimsforening med det lidt specielle navn: Blue Mountains Australia Supporters of the Camino , der mener mere om navnet på en fanklub for et fodboldshold end en pilgrimsforening, har netop offentliggjort årsprogrammet for 2017, der indeholder både pilgrimstræning og Menu del dia'er.
